2025 Boat Shows

The London Boat Race is back! Join thousands of other live spectators (millions if you count TV spectators) along the Thames River (Putney to Mortlake) to cheer on the competing rowing crews from Oxford and Cambridge universities, with Oxford in dark blue and Cambridge in light blue. The 2025 Boat Race, featuring the 79th Women's Race and the 170th Men's Race, will take place on Sunday, April 13, 2025 First raced by crews from Oxford and Cambridge University in 1829, the 79th Women's Race will take place at 13:21.

The Boat Race Company Ltd is excited to announce that Sunday 13 th April 2025 will be the date when Oxford and Cambridge will return to the famous Championship Course, stretching over 4.25 miles of tidal Thames in west London between Putney and Mortlake, for The Boat Race 2025. The women's race is scheduled to start at 1.21pm, with the men's event at 2.21pm.
